The club began in 1983, then, as now, there was no cinema on the Island.

The Phillip Island Movie Club  is currently full as membership numbers are limited by the number of seats available, with a waiting list being established.

Since forming in 1983 as the Phillip Island Film Society, films are run monthly from February to November and are held on the last Wednesday of the month at St Phillip’s Church Hall, Thompson Avenue Cowes, Phillip Island..

We begin the film at 8.00pm and have both an opening night and Christmas breakup with wine and nibbles.

The Phillip Island Movie Club has a large waiting list to join this club
