Our area of concern is the coast and foreshore between Salt Water Creek to Devon Street in Ventnor Phillip Island

Ventnor Coast Care Association will meet on the third Friday of the month from April through to September, with an optional weeding session in October/November. The dates are: 21 May, 18 June, 16 July, 20 August, and 17 September (including our AGM).

We kicked off the season with a weeding session near the playground on the foreshore near the end of Ventnor Beach Road, where we dead-headed agapanthus to prevent further seed spread and pulled out arum lilies. We’ve just scratched the surface of a substantial weed problem at this site, which will need repeated follow-up.

We Undertake planting, weeding etc under the supervision of Bass Coast Council.
