An indoor pool filled with a variety of water programs

Phillip Island Swim School is a fresh new privately run business which offers quality swimming tuition to children of all ages and abilities. The indoor pool is always kept at 33 degrees and the building has change rooms, toilet, showers and baby change tables.

Located in Cowes Phillip Island, we offer a number of programs to the wider community; Infant Aquatics, Aqua Aerobics, Learn to Swim, and private lessons.

These include:

  • Swimming Lessons – Infants | 4 months – 3 years
  • Swimming lessons Pre-school 3.5 -5 years
  • School Age lessons
  • Private Swimming Lessons
  • Aqua Fitness
  • Aqua Dance
  • Aqua Pilates
  • Adult Swim/Exercise
  • Hydro Relaxation
  • Virtual water workout

Aqua  fitness classes are a great way to mix up a traditional gym workout with the wondrous benefits of water. It only takes a few aqua fitness sessions and you’ll see a big difference in your overall fitness.

Also know as water aerobics, typical classes will involve all the exercises you would expect in a ‘dry’ class. But there are added bonuses when you exercise in water.

  • Improvement in lung capacity and endurance
  • Relief on supporting muscular system for injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Short recovery periods
  • Decreased gravity which decreases joint loading
  • Currents in the water massage the skin promoting circulation and relaxation
  • Core muscles are strengthened as participants learn to stabilize their bodies against turbulence
  • Working out in water helps build strength. Fighting against the push of the water activates your muscles
  • Water pressure helps put less strain on the heart by moving blood around the body
  • And… it’s fun! It is not often you can say that about a workout.

With its pristine beaches and clear waters, Phillip Island Swim School offers an ideal environment for learning to swim or improving your technique. Our certified instructors provide personalized attention, catering to all skill levels and ages. Whether you’re a beginner or aiming to refine your strokes, our structured lessons ensure steady progress and confidence in the water. Safety is paramount, and our small class sizes guarantee individualized guidance. Join our community of swimmers and experience the joy of swimming in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations at Phillip Island Swim School.
